Autumn is one of our favourite times of year, and this October brought another wonderfully seasonal project. The Highfield Event Group were delighted to provide marquee hire for a popular pumpkin patch event in Essex, supplying structures across the site to help bring this much loved Halloween attraction to life for thousands of visiting families.
Marquee Hire for a Seasonal Event in Essex
Pumpkin patch events have become a highlight of the autumn calendar, and delivering the marquees for one is quite different from a wedding or a formal celebration. The brief was all about creating practical, welcoming spaces that could handle large numbers of visitors in comfort, whatever the famously changeable October weather decided to do.
Working on a busy working farm, our team planned the installation carefully around the wider attraction, positioning each marquee to keep visitors flowing easily between the pumpkins, the food areas and the seasonal displays.
Covered Food and Seating Areas Under Our Marquees
A key part of the setup was providing sheltered food and seating areas where families could pause, warm up and refuel. Our framed marquees created generous covered spaces filled with picnic bench seating, giving guests somewhere comfortable to enjoy their food and hot drinks before heading back out to explore.
Open sided and finished with a traditional valance, these structures offered shelter from any passing showers while keeping that open, outdoor feel. Dressed with dried corn stalks and seasonal touches, they fitted the autumn theme perfectly and became a natural gathering point at the heart of the event.
Bringing a Halloween Attraction to Life
Beyond the food areas, we provided marquees around the venue to support different parts of the attraction, helping to shape the layout and give the whole site a real sense of occasion. Combined with festoon lighting, pumpkin displays and rustic farm styling, our structures played their part in creating a fun and festive atmosphere for the Halloween season.
