In September, The Highfield Event Group were delighted to plan and deliver a corporate summer party for a Newmarket-based company in the beautiful grounds of Lanwades Hall. As one of the venues we regularly collaborate with, Lanwades Hall offered the perfect setting for a fun and relaxed day for staff and their families.
A Corporate Fun-Filled Day for All
The day was packed with activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Guests took part in axe throwing and archery, tackled an assault course, and enjoyed face painting and a bouncy castle for the younger visitors. Live music played throughout the afternoon while the bar and food stalls provided plenty of refreshments and variety for all tastes.
Event Design and Marquee Setup
At the heart of the event stood a 12m x 6m frame marquee, which served as the main hub for the party. Several smaller marquees were installed to house the food stalls, games and entertainment. The layout was designed to create an open, festival-style atmosphere that encouraged guests to explore and enjoy every element of the celebration. Bright flags, bunting and greenery added vibrant colour and energy to the site, while our rustic circular bar became a focal point for the day.
Planning and Event Management
Our team at The Highfield Event Group handled the full event planning and management, from early concept development through to on-the-day coordination. Our team were on-site to oversee every detail — managing suppliers, running the bar, and ensuring the schedule flowed smoothly from start to finish.
