We are a leading Marquee Rental and Event Management team located on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border, catering not only to East Anglia but also extending our services further afield. Our inventory boasts a diverse range of marquees, including both classic natural canvas and modern clearspan frame structures. Additionally, the Highfield Event Group specialises in providing exquisite interiors, a hallmark of our brand.

Meet our team
Gary Chapman
Director, CEO & Founder
Garry is our our chairman, CEO and founder. He is a font of knowledge when it comes to marquees and is always happy to share his experience or recall a tale or two from the past. Garry oversees everything that takes place at The Highfield Event Group and is the linchpin of our organisation.
Chris Chapman
Operations Director
The third director and in charge of Operations, Chris provides the link between management and on-site teams and is instrumental in making it all happen. His experience is phenomenal, making him a critical member of our team. Chris also has a fabulous sense of humour and it is big hit with all he works with.
Claire Rigarlsford-Chapman
Director of Sales and Events
Claire is one of the three Directors at Highfield and has been involved in the industry for as long as she remembers. Her job is her passion and as vital to Claire as the air she breathes. Claire has a team of merry elves who work tirelessly in the office to make all of the dreams come too. As well as overseeing all Event Management bookings.
Ffion Lewis
Event Manager
Ffion has a passion for working in events and helps bring our clients visions to life. She works closely along side Claire the director of events.
Rebecca Haswell
Events Administrator
Rebecca is very much into her fitness and spending time with family/friends. She's also a coffee and brunch lover.
Charlotte Chapman
Admin Assistant
Charlotte has become part of the Chapman family and works alongside them in the office to help support all new enquiries from our lovely clients!
Gail Parkins
Operations Assistant
Gail has known the Chapman family 25 years. Gail has over 19 years’ experience in the marquee industry and is a fountain of knowledge! A keen hockey player in her spare time, as well as looking after her 2 beautiful daughters.
Suzanne Mayers
HR Manager
Suzanne juggles several jobs, working as PA to Garry, Claire and Chris, as well as handling all matters HR. She is always smiling, regardless of what you throw at her. She is also a keen baker and is happy to share her wares with us, much to our delight

Pam has a serious eye for perfection and the most friendly of personalities.
Paul Olen
Manager of Manufacturing
Paul has been with us from the very start. What Paul does not know about marquees is not worth knowing. Paul looks after all our fleet of vehicles, repairs and creates essential kit for us and generally makes himself indispensable in every way, every day.
Stefan Wray
Foreman
Our foreman Stefan is a bundle of energy and a fast-talker to boot! A cheerful cheeky chappy, Stefan is very good at what he does, making him very popular with our clients.
Perry Roberts
Foreman
Our poodle loving foreman who would love to tell you his tales about his large family of dogs over a cup of tea and piece of cake!
A friendly chappie with bundles of experience putting up marquees all over the country. You can be assured you are in very safe hands with Perry and his team.

Laine is a very hardworking foreman who is fantastic at leading his team in building our amazing marquees!
