As we have all heard it said I am sure, from small acorns do oak trees grow. No more so can this be the case than here at Highfield.

From our humble beginnings back in 1979, the business has continued to grow and prosper under the watchful eye of Garry Chapman. His enthusiasm and attention to detail has set the business apart, earning us an enviable reputation for providing the very best in marquee hire and event planning.

In 2004, a major step was taken by us in acquiring Simpers Marquee Hire, a long established Cambridge marquee hire company. A further stride followed soon after in 2006 with the purchase of Hansa Hire, our Ipswich company. Together they all now form The Highfield Event Group Ltd.

Garry has been joined in the business by his daughter Claire, son Christopher, and with fellow Directors, Paul Olen who has been with us from almost the very beginning, and his two sons, Mark and David all working together with our experienced, dedicated and loyal staff, the future is secure for years to come.

From Headquarters close to Newmarket in Suffolk, we continue to offer the reputable, reliable, friendly and quality service which has been our standard from the very start.All three businesses continue to operate independently but with the combined strength, security and knowledge of each ensuring a guaranteed service from any.

In particular, Highfield Tiffany Marquees have become renowned not only at providing the 'usual marquee', and for which we offer a first class service, but also for supplying something different. It might be a contemporary, one off, bespoke designed structure or possibly just an awkward site to handle. When most might take a deep breath and say it is not possible, be assured Highfield Tiffany Marquees will have a way to make it happen, however wacky, different or demanding the challenge might be, big or small, terrace or field. We can design it, we can manufacture it, we will erect it and then take it down, not only in the UK but also as far away as France, Spain, Holland and Germany.

Simpers Marquees and Events remains, as it has for well over a century now, one of East Anglia's leading marquee suppliers, especially in and around Cambridge where there is not a University or College we have not worked in. Whilst of course keeping a pace with the ever changing times, we now provide a large selection of frame structures, but our creamy white traditional pole marquees, some still manufactured in house, are as popular as ever and can be seen at events throughout the UK.

Hansa Marquee Hire has for the past twenty five years offered a local marquee hire service in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, but it is the range of events where Hansa provides this equipment that stands it apart from the rest. It might be a simple and small family barbecue just needing shelter from the rain, a country wedding or an expanse of white marquee as required at a County Show. Hansa Hire is at home anywhere!
